La Bergeria is a former sheep-pen turned into a very comfortable cottage with a lot of character. It is the home of a renowned painter who has given a soul to this peaceful heaven.
It stands atop the mountain and overlooks the medieval village of Tourette/Loup and the Mediterranean. It is very secluded; you will have the feeling to be alone on the earth. The sea is 25 minutes away by car. The cottage stands on a large estate with a private pool. For security, the owner, an old single lady, has a permanent housekeeper who stays in a close by little house.
A car is required, the access road is steep, winding and narrow but the panorama is unique.
The house is ideal for one or two couples with 4 kids or occasional guests.
The large living room is shared in two, each part having its fireplace and topped by a XVIIth century vault perfectly preserved. The kitchen is small but well equipped with cupboards, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms, each with its own style. One bedroom has a queen-size bed (1.60m), two bedrooms have a double bed (1.40m). There are two extra single beds in the large corridor, one bathroom with bath, basin & WC, one shower room, a laundry room with a washing machine and a shower, one independent WC.
La Bergeria est une ancienne bergerie du XVIIème transformée en une villa confortable ayant beaucoup de caractère.
C’est la résidence d’une peintre renommée qui a mis toute son âme dans ce petit paradis.
Elle domine le village médiéval de Tourette/Loup et la Méditerranée. Elle est recluse; vous aurez le sentiment d’être seuls au monde. La mer est à 25 minutes en voiture. La villa est située dans une vaste propriété avec piscine privée. Pour des raisons de sécurité, la propriétaire, une femme âgée et seule, a un gardien permanent qui habite dans une maisonnette à côté.
Une voiture est nécessaire, la route d’accès est raide, sinueuse et étroite mais le panorama est unique.
La maison est idéale pour un ou deux couples avec 4 enfants ou des hôtes occasionnels.
Le très grand séjour est partagé en deux parties chacune avec sa cheminée; il a un plafond en pierres voûté du XVIIème siècle parfaitement conservé. La cuisine est petite mais bien équipée avec des placards, une cuisinière, un four, un micro-onde, un réfrigérateur, un lave-vaisselle. Il y a trois chambres, chacune avec un style différent. La première a un grand lit double de 1.60m, les deux autres chambres ont un lit double de 1.40m. Il y a deux lits simples supplémentaires dans le grand couloir. Il y a salle de bains avec baignoire lavabo & WC, une salle d’eau, un buanderie avec une machine à laver & une douche, plus un WC indépendant .
